3D animation course syllabus brief:
Objectives
Students will design sketch and create 3 portfolio
quality animation sequences.
- bounce animation
- walk cycle
- lip sync dialog project
Students' success will be evaluated by each student's ability to:
- successfully employ the 12 principals of animation.
- demonstrate proper use of timing
- demonstrate clear and convincing use of balance and weight
- employment believe use of body mechanics
- become fluent and facile with the graph editor
- show up for class on time and meet weekly deadlines.

You will need a dedicated notebook for class. This notebook will contain sketches, ideas and class notes among other things.
You will need media for back up of work in progress and resource files. These may be DVD's, key flash drives and portable hard drives. Do not rely on the school servers as your sole source of backup. Failure to heed this advice can have severe consequences.
